Ryan McLane was born in Indiana, USA. Ryan was first offered several opportunities to play college basketball including an offer from Butler University in Indianapolis. He declined the Butler offer, and after taking a family trip to Los Angeles, he decided he would stay permanently in California where he briefly played basketball in LA but soon quit.
